This system meets NFPA 99requirements for Level 1 breathing Scroll Air CompressorThe Powerex Oilless Rotary Scroll AirCompressor has advanced scrollcompressor technology through thedevelopment of a completely oillessunit. The Powerex Scroll Compressor offers adynamically balanced air end whichinsures vibration-free operation.

No oil separation, oilfiltration, or inlet valves are requiredon the Powerex Scroll air TANKThe ASME, National Board registeredvertical air receiver is provided in sizesfrom 80 to 200 gallons. Each receiver israted at 200 PSIG working are provided with sight glassand moisture drain (manual or auto-matic).CONTROL PANELThe NEMA 12 control panel is providedin all multiplex configurations andmeets NFPA 99 requirements formedical air. Primary voltage isprotected by fusing or circuit transformer power is 110 voltsand protected by secondary switches/transducer control/sthe compressors on and off cycle andsignal lag Compressor (s) to come on ifair demand increases. 4 NEMA panel mount enclosureis protected by a polymer MONOXIDEMONITOR/ALARMThe carbon monoxide monitorprovides warning to the user byalarming and metering the presence ofcarbon monoxide. The monitor isprovided in a NEMA 12 enclosure. Inaddition to audio/visual alarm, themeter displays the concentration of COin the compressed air. The meteroperates from a 110 VAC supply. 5 This system consists of two completelyseparate desiccant dryers. One is acomplete backup of the other. Each ofthe desiccant dryers is a dual towersystem. While one tower is on lineremoving the moisture from the airstream, the other is depressurized,reactivated using a dry purge air flow,and then repressurized for the nextcycle. The purge saving feature on oursystem will suspend the purge cycleuntil the dew point detected by ourhygrometer reaches -10 FILTER SYSTEMThe medical filter system consists of aduplex series of filters and pressureregulators. Air enters the system and isdirected to either bank of filters/dryercontrolled by a ball valve. The firststage filter remove solids and liquidparticles.
