Taking Highway 55 to Highway 21 is less windy while taking Highway 21 the entire way is a more direct route. Both drives are very scenic and take between - 3 hours. The office staff consensus is that Highway 55 is the better route. If anyone in your party is susceptible to motion sickness, you re wise to take the Highway 55 route. Highway 55 Route, from the Boise Airport to the Ranch: Start out going East on W Airport WAY toward W RYAN ST. Stay straight to go onto S VISTA AVE.
2 Merge onto I-84 W/US-30 W via the ramp- on the left- toward NAMPA/CALDWELL. Merge onto S EAGLE RD/ID-55 N via exit number 46 toward EAGLE/MCCALL/EMMETT. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto E STATE ST/ID-44/ID-55. Turn LEFT onto ID-55 Turn RIGHT on Lowman-Banks Road. This road dead-ends at Highway 21. 3 Stay straight to go onto S VISTA AVE. Merge onto I-84 E toward MOUNTAIN HOME. Take the ID-21/GOWEN ROAD exit- exit number 57 Turn LEFT onto ID-21/E GOWEN RD. Continue to follow ID-21 E. Follow all the way until it dead-ends at Highway 75. Turn RIGHT on 75 South for approximately 9 miles. The Ranch is on the left past the highway marker 181. (East side of Highway 75)
