Ohio 4543313 AGSTRACTT ensile, exfoliation, fatigue, and fatigue crack growth propertieswere determined for a new aluminum sheet alloy, 7475, in two heat treatedconditions.' T761 and T61. The tensile properties of the T61 sheet weresuperior to those for the T761 sheet. The fatigue crack growth propertieswere the same from heat treatment to heat treatment and were unaffectedby crack orientation in the plate.)
6 Conventional notched and unnotchedfatigue data showed in the 7475 alloy had superior fatigue resistancecompared to presently-in-'use aluminum alloys.
