1 Dr Che-chung LUK: Biographical Note dr luk has been a health care executive in the public sector since 1990, serving in various positions in the then Hospital Services Department of the Hong Kong Government and the Hong Kong Hospital Authority. During his time at the Hospital Authority Head Office, he was responsible for co-ordinating the annual planning of its overall operation service and facility planning, the development of clinical specialty services, hospital operations and quality management. Since 1999, dr luk started to be a Hospital Chief Executive managing 5. different public hospitals under the Hong Kong Hospital Authority at various times.
2 He is at present the Hospital Chief Executive of United Christian Hospital and Cluster Chief Executive of Kowloon East Cluster, responsible for operation of 2,500 hospital beds, managing a recurrent budget of HK$3 billion and 6,000 staff members.
