Qualification aims and objectives The aims and objectives of this qualification are to enable students to: learn about human body systems and how they interact to support the healthy functioning of an individual and apply this knowledge in new and changing situations acquire knowledge and understanding of human biological facts, terminology, systems and practical techniques apply the principles and concepts of biology in relation to the health of individuals and populations in different contexts evaluate biological information, making judgements for the implications for human biology on the basis of this information appreciate the practical nature of human biology.
