Under Apply -> Check Status Application Outcome , the status shown is the status of the application for that pass , and not the status of the pass itself. On the other hand, under Enquire -> Employment and Related pass Details , the status shown is the actual status of the pass .

2 For example, if the application for a pass was approved, and the pass was eventually issued and then expired, if you are to check the status for this pass under Apply -> Check Status Application Outcome , the status will still be reflected as Approved , because that was the outcome for that pass application. On the other hand, if you are to check the status for this pass under Enquire -> Employment and Related pass Details , the status will be reflected as pass Expired, because this is the actual status of the pass .

3 Besides this difference, the other major difference is that you can print the outcome letters of those applications that you had submitted via EP Online using the Apply -> Check Status Application Outcome function but not the Enquire -> Employment and Related pass Details function. 2 Can I view the pass details of Dependant s pass / Long Term Social Visit pass / Training Employment pass / Letter of Consent / EntrePass holders using this function? Yes. 3 If I only have the FIN for the Employment pass / S pass holder, can I still check the pass status of his related Dependant s pass (DP) / Long Term Social Visit pass (LTSVP) holder?

4 Yes, you can use the FIN for the Employment pass / S pass holder to retrieve the record(s) of related DP / LTSVP holder(s) too, and the relevant pass status will be displayed in that record. 4 Can an Employment Agency (EA) enquire about the details of the client companies pass holders on behalf of the client companies? No, the EA is only allowed to enquire about its own pass holders ( the pass holders who are under the direct Employment of the EA). 5 How long will the pass details be available for retrieval?

5 Passes or applications that are valid ( status = issued / pending / approved) will always be available for retrieval.
