2 It shouldonly be installed on engines whose CPLnumbers areincluded in the TecBrake Application Chart. TecBrakeModel T455B /C replaces the former Model T455 : Information required to order enginebrake IDENTIFICATION:Obtain the Engine s CPL number. Refer to the TecBrakeApplication Guide , which lists all Cummins engines onwhich the T455B /C Engine Brake may be SCREW SELECTION:The Engine CPL number determines which adjustingscrews are required for the installation. It is important thatthe proper adjusting screws be selected and installed. Useof the wrong screws or an incorrect lash adjustment maycause improper Brake operation and Engine SCREWS INCLUDED IN KIT:The T455B /C Engine Brake kit (Part No. TB960021) isshipped with adjusting screws (part No. TB900032, colorcode orange ) already installed in the Brake configuration is correct for some additional adjusting screws (Part No.)

3 TB900039, colorcode purple ) are included in the Housing Assembly. IfApplication Guide specifies purple adjusting screws, theymust be installed in place of orange screws over theexact same location.
