2 Design assures ease of installation andreduces likelihood of losing criticalcomponents in the field. Insulator and contact components arenow a single piece assembly. ENP Plugs can be used in non-hazardous areas with standard U-ground NEMA/EEMAC configuration 5and 6 receptacles, eliminating the needfor two separately equipped portableunits of the same type. The ENRreceptacle will not accept standardNEMA/EEMAC configuration Plugs . ENP plug handle body is designed withan internal cord strain relief mechanismand a cable sealing grommet which willaccept various cable diameters. Field assembly is accomplished withstandard tools. Ark Gard 2receptacle incorporatesthree spring-loaded slide keys thatprevent the receptacle face plate frombeing rotated until the ENP plug is fullyinserted into the receptacle.

3 To makethe connection, the ENP plug is fullyinserted, and the receptacle face movedinward by pushing the plug forward. Theplug is then rotated, closing the rotation begins, the plug becomeslocked in the receptacle and cannot beaccidentally disengaged.
