1 1. This Tychem garment has attached socks made of the garment material. These attached socks must be worn inside protective outer footwear and are not suitable as outer footwear. These attached socks do not have adequate durability or slip resistance to be worn as the outer foot covering. WARNING: Tychem should not be used around heat, flames, sparks or in potentially flammable or explosive environments. Only Tychem ThermoPro garments are designed and tested to help reduce injury during escape from a flash fire. Users of Tychem ThermoPro garments should not knowingly enter an explosive environment. Consult the Tychem user manual , located on the dupont website, for instructions on proper use, care and maintenance of your Tychem garments.

2 Issue: Law enforcement departments have need for a one-piece Level C garment for responding to chemical, biological or radioactive agents and WMD challenges. Garments must have ability to be used with cartridge respirator. Optimally, garments should have ability to be folded and/or stored in a compact state for typical bag-stowage in police vehicles. 3 LEVEL C GARMENT SOLUTION FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT & PUBLIC SECTOR RESPONDERS dupont Tychem F Strong and durable garments that provide a broad chemical barrier for potential exposure to toxic industrial chemicals and chemical warfare agents. Tychem F is a barrier film laminated to Tyvek . Taped seams provide strong chemical resistance against heavy liquid splashes. A sewn seam is covered with a strip of compatible chemical-resistant material through heat sealing. Three-piece hood design with longer zipper that extends to chin for complete coverage of neck area and good fit around a respirator. Storm flap covers zipper that can be sealed by the wearer with adhesive strip to prevent intrusion at zipper. Tychem F provides at least 30 minutes of protection against 181 chemical challenges.
