What is Foster Care? Foster care is where youth live while their parents are working on fxing safety concerns. Youth in foster care have a social worker/probation offcer that will help fnd them a safe home either with a relative, a resource family (foster parent), or, if needed, a Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP).
