10 In case, IS SPECIFICATIONS are not available, the decision of the SMC shall be final. Theambiguity in regards to interpretation of specification (s), the decision of the SMC shall be final andbinding. Wherever, any reference to any Indian Standard specification occurs in the documentsrelating to this contract the same shall be inclusive of all amendments issued thereto or revisions thereof,if any, up to the date of receipt of tenders. Samples of BUILDING materials, door and window fitting,sanitary ware, electricalitems, mechanicalitems, fire safety itemsandother articles required forcompletion of work shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge before their use in the shall be given to those articles which bears IS certification mark.
