My idea was to have a catalogue exactly like the one we are presenting to you here: of lamps constructed according to a particular vision, whose prime characteristics are simplicity, weightlessness, emotion, creative ingenuity.

5 The lamps and lighting solutions we invent every day are the instruments and words we use to tell our stories. The aim is illumination, but we also strive to seduce the viewer, make places appear more mysterious, hint at references and metaphors, imagining sets that in the end constitute the theatres of our lives. One of the biggest challenges we face while creating is the desire to invent lamps that have never been made before. We start from an idea, not of a lamp but an idea that inspires the creation of one, focusing on the human element. We don t feel tied down by technical aspects, the colour of a product or the material used.

6 The sky s the limit with us. It s the idea that s important. We want our lamps to reflect our search for the perfect light, our honesty, our stories, our passion. What we do looks simple, at times even less than basic, but I can assure you that austerity is the result of a complete and complex method of research. We want our creations to be generous. We want our lamps to enjoy what they do. They become important when their light reflects curiosity, experimentation and freedom .. Certain very special people I have met have been instrumental in establishing my approach to invention and design.
