Heifers traded mostly to higher, closing the gap a little with their steer mates. Slaughter cows to higher. Overall quality didn't run quite as deep this week and with fewer large strings on offer, buyers were more selective putting cattle together.
2 Supply moderate, demand moderate to good. Supply included: 97% Feeder Cattle (62% Steers, 38% Heifers); 3% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 45%.
