1 HCA Learner Continuing Education Requirements | | Rev Accrediting Organization Certificate of Completion Issued HCA Reporting Requirements for Accrediting Organizations Learner Considerations ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) Yes HCA is an accredited as a provider of Continuing Education through March 1, 2019. This date can be found on the certificate of completion. Learner needs to print the certificate generated at the end of the lesson. No HCA is only required to report the number of nurses that have successfully completed a course. Select RN as the Learner type on each course evaluation. ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing) Yes HCA is an approved provider with ASHA.
2 ASHA approval information is included with the Continuing Education information that prints with the promotional at the beginning of each lesson. Learner also needs to print the certificate generated at the end of the lesson. Yes HCA reports participant name, ASHA Number, address, phone number and email to ASHA on a quarterly basis. Select SLP as the Learner type on each course evaluation. It is very important for the SLP Learner to complete all required fields on each course evaluation so that HCA can capture the correct information to report to ASHA. AOTA (American Occupational therapy Association) Yes HCA has a separate certificate for AOTA certified courses.
3 The OT Learner needs to print this certificate at the end of the lesson. No However, learners may receive an email from HCA that includes a link to a survey from AOTA. Any Learner that receives this survey link is strongly encouraged to complete it. Select OT as the Learner type on each course evaluation. AARC (American Association for Respiratory Care) Yes AARC CRCE approval information is included with the Continuing Education information that prints with the promotional at the beginning of each lesson. Learner also needs to print the certificate generated at the end of the lesson. Yes HCA reports participant name, AARC Number, e-mail and state of residence to AARC CRCE every 60 days.
4 Select RT as the Learner type on each course evaluation. It is very important for the RT Learner to complete all required fields on each course evaluation so that HCA can capture the correct information to report to AARC. NASW (National Association of Social Workers) Yes NASW approval information is included with the Continuing Education information that prints with the promotional at the beginning of each lesson.
6 Learner needs to print the certificate generated at the end of the lesson. No HCA is only required to report the number of social workers that have successfully completed a course and HCA reports data about the likert ratings from the evaluations. Select SW as the Learner type on each course evaluation. NAB (National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards) Yes Learner needs to print the certificate generated at the end of the lesson. Yes HCA reports participant name (first and last) and NAB ID number (given to the participant after they register with NAB registry) to NAB weekly. Select Administrator as the Learner type of each course evaluation.
7 CE Broker No Monthly CE activities are reported monthly to the following: Florida PT, OT, RN Florida board of NHA Georgia RN and board of NHA HCA needs correct license numbers to submit CE activity to CE Broker. CE activity is submitted to CE Broker by HCA at the beginning of each month.
