This list is not intended to be comprehensive. Common sense and best judgment will be used to determine which MATERIALS can be managed in a safe and responsible manner. Special situations or requests for deviations are to be discussed and cleared with your account executive prior to delivery. 3 Select facilities equipped to demanufacture may accept (may be subject to fee). INQUIRE AT ammonia or asbestos containing : Acccept from IDNR-certified demanufacturers only. Must bear unique removed in accordance with applicable regulations. Labeled No PCBs or manufactured in USA after 1998; accepted at Nonferrous Receiving only Empty with no residual content; entire top removed or cut in half to allow for inspection. Containers formerly containing acute haz-ardous waste (as defined in 40 CFR 261) only accepted if certified triple rinsed. Provide MSDSs for any drums bearing hazard or warn-ing facilities may accept lead-acid batteries (car, industrial) if segregated; no universal waste batteries ( NIMH, NiCd, lithium or Absolyte).

6 REFRIGERANT-CONTAINING SCRAP (refrigerators, heat pumps, motor vehicle air conditioners, window and terminal air con-ditioners, water coolers, dehumidifiers, etc.)Certification and documentation that the dross is not hazardous and has been managed in compliance with applicable legal parts without circuit boards, PCB capacitors, leaded glass, toner or cathode ray tubes are segregated from other scrap, select facilities may accept whole (may be subject to fee). INQUIRE AT fluids to be drained prior to delivery. Mercury components must be removed from scrap statement stating free of explosive, radioactive, and hazardous contain PCBs, asbestos, and mercury components; requires PRE-APPROVAL FROM ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER Select facilities may accept if hot-drained of free-flowing oil for a minimum of 24 hours, punctured and containerized when , empty and dr NOT contain PCB oil and mercury switches; requires PRE- APPROVAL FROM ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGERDO NOT to be properly recovered in accordance with federal or state regulations using EPA-certified recovery equipment. Refrigerant/CFC recovery certification facilities that recover refrigerants may accept (may be subject to fee).

INQUIRE AT NOT of asbestos and/or RECOVERY NOTICEIT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO KNOWINGLY VENT OR RELEASE INTO THE ENVIRONMENT ANY REFRIGERANT OR SUBSTITUTE FROM APPLIANCES AND MOTOR VEHICLES. PERSONS WHO KNOWINGLY PROVIDE FALSE STATEMENTS OR RELEASE REFRIGERANTS INTO THE ENVIRONMENT MAY BE SUBJECT TO EPA CRIMINAL PENALTIES UP TO $37500 PER DAY FOR EACH VIOLATION.
