3 Curriculum Combination Degrees Industrial and Systems EngineeringIndustrial and Systems Engineering prepares students for industrialpractice in process design, efficiency planning with technical operationresearch component, data analytics for Industry , human and systemsanalysis, production and quality control and economic analysis ofoperational are prepared to use Engineering principles to solve problemsthat require a quantitative basis for decision making and the applicationof operations research, statistics, economics, mathematics andengineering analysis, with dependence on the computer.

4 The curriculumalso provides the preparation necessary for graduate RequirementsThe minimum requirements for admission to the undergraduate programare an overall grade point average and a grade point average inthe designated pre- Engineering technical courses. Students who have notmet these requirements at 60 credits may be admitted on probation withsuccessful RequirementsStudents must complete each required course with a minimum grade ofC in at most three attempts. 6 These courses preparestudents to make an informed decision when selecting a specific ISE area(within the restricted electives) in which they would like to ElectivesIn order to facilitate an in-depth study of specific areas within the ISEdiscipline, the department of Industrial and Systems Engineering offersrestricted electives Research and Data Systems and LogisticsGrouping of courses into these areas (sets of restricted electives)enable a layered approach, where a specific area is explored by severalcourses in a thorough and progressive fashion.
