Remove 13:Use a hammer on theback of a severe service sleeve or face of a standard 14:Apply thin film of non-hardening RTV on the axle shoulder 15:Drive axle sleeve on toshoulder until the tool 1:MVP Oil bath SEALS ,tools, new gasket, torque wrench,and dial 3:Remove all rust, scale and burrs from all seal related 2:Remove all corrosion, oldsealant, and sharp edges, cleanand inspect spindle 4:Place wheel assembly flaton floor or at 45 degree 5:Clean and inspect bearings,lubricate with wheel-end TIPS: Do not use sealants on the seal Always pre-lubricate with the same lubeto be used in the hub.

3 If using grease to lubricate the wheelbearings on non-driven axles, see vehiclemanufacturer or TMC Trailer Axles: Do not exceed the oil level line on thehubcap Drive Axles: Raise one wheel end approximately 8 inches for 30 seconds and repeat forthe other side. Remove the axle fill plug,and add lubricant as needed. Remove the axle breather, clean in solvent. Dry with compressed air, and INSTALLING drive axles, see tipssection INSTALLING MVP two-piece sealaxle sleeves, see steps 13 to all required parts andinstallation prepare all surfaces thatmate with SEALS and axle clean and inspect theentire hub, inside and not install SEALS with wheelassembly in vertical correct MVP seal installationtool driver and bearing of a torque wrench and dial indicator is install hub.

4 Lubricate outerbearing and inside diameter of seal into bore only until thetool reounds and sound align inner bearing withtool/ seal any gouges or marring fromaxle shoulder with a old axle sleeve with ball-peen hammer.
