3 The d7412 includes a built-in digitalcommunicator which reports events to selecteddestinations via programmable routes. With programmingand accessory modules the d7412 offers flexibility andbeneficial features rarely found in other Security ConfigurationsArea programming offers you a wide selection of differentsystem configurations. Each area is assigned to one of upto eight account numbers to define annunciation, control,and reporting InterfaceCommand centers provide on-premises point and systemstatus annunciation. The d7412 provides a fully selectableuser interface so you can customize command centerdisplays and simplify operation by creating menu itemsand functions and by only showing those menu items thatare appropriate to that Function List can help the new user to becomefamiliar with the features of the control panel. You programthe Function List for features and Custom Functions thatcan be viewed at each command Functions allow users to perform complexfunctions with a few keystrokes.

4 Up to 4 Custom Functionscan be programmed, each identified by 16 characters ofcustom text. You can program the panel with functionscontaining up to 32 keystrokes D1255 Command Center, D1256 Fire CommandCenter and D1257 Fire Annunciator use a 16-characterEnglish language display to show System status, areastatus (custom text), and point status (custom text). TheD720 LED Command Center provides command functionsand annunciation for up to 8 points in a single area. The radionics Modem IIIa2 communicationsformat, available with radionics D6500 Receiver and theD7412, adds these reporting capabilities - to name just afew: Reports individual point numbers, point text and otherevent information Opening/closing reports from up to 99 users, with username Identifies Opening/Closing reports by area number Reports Access control events with up to 396 user ID s Reports remote programming attempts Includes Diagnostic ReportsLocal Event Storage and PrintingUp to 1000 events can be recorded in the d7412 built inLogger memory. All events - local only and transmittedreports - are automatically stored. Each event log entrycontains the time, date, event description, account number,point number, and user command center function allows selected users to viewthe event log from the command center.

7 The events can beretrieved remotely using RAM print as they are stored in the d7412 s event D9131A Parallel Printer Interface can be installed torecord events locally on a printer. The printer can recordopening and closing, Access , alarm, Skeds, or anycombination of events. The d7412 can supervise variousprinter status ApplicationsLogger and Local Printer are ideally suited for thecustomer who would like to have a record of openings andclosings without having the extra communications Logger and RAM 3, you can suppress reports andthen retrieve the Security System events periodically usingone phone call, rather than receiving several calls the panel s event log reaches the programmedthreshold of stored events, the d7412 sends a report to theD6500 receiver to remind the central station to retrieveevents from the panel s log with RAM P/N 34019D (10/97) d7412 Specification Sheet 1997 radionics , Access Control ModuleAccess can be granted from a Wiegand style accesscontrol device ( Access reader) when connected to a D9210 Access Control Module.

8 Access may also be granted froma REQUEST TO EXIT or a REQUEST TO ENTER D9210 Access Interface Module provides for connec-tions of the Access door point and the door strike. Up totwo D9210s can be incorporated on each System . EachD9210 controls one door. Each Access door can be configured independently fromthe other doors. The same alarm door contact point controls the accessdoor and is part of the alarm System (the door does notneed to have double contacts). The door contact can be either normally open ornormally closed and is used to reset the door strike timewhen the door either opens or closes depending uponprogramming. The door contact can terminate a programmable doorentry buzzer (if used). The door contact is shunted when valid Access is beinggranted through the door. An optional buzzer can be triggered prior to the end of adoor shunt period to warn the user that a door left open condition is about to occur.

9 The Access point can be configured to generate analarm or a trouble (or have no response) when the dooris left open beyond the door shunt period. The reading of Access cards, in addition to the grantingof Access , can control whether the System will disarmalong with granting of Access . The door strike can be programmed to be held openautomatically during the disarm period and then auto-matically re-lock when the area is armed. The System can be configured to generate an alarm, atrouble, (or have no response) depending upon thearea s armed condition when the door is opened outsideof an authorized Access period. An option is provided that can control whether accessgranted conditions or no entry conditions sendevents to the log by door. REQUEST TO ENTER and REQUEST TO EXIT can beprogrammed to shunt the door without activating contractor shall furnish and install, where indicated onthe plans, a radionics d7412 Control/Communicator.

10 Thepanel shall be listed by Underwriters Laboratories forNFPA 72 d7412 shall support initiating and indicating modulesand radionics Command Centers.
