It offers total head and neck support and the padded lower sectionprovides additional under-thigh comfort and support. Use the full body Sling for residents who are totallydependent, partially-dependent, non-weight bearing, very heavy or have limited head control.

2 Use this Sling foramputee residents (in a reclined position). Choose from solid polyester fabric or bathing mesh, with or withoutcommode opening. The mesh slings may be used for bathing or when the Sling will be left under the resident. Thesolid polyester slings should not be left under the resident for extended periods because the padding retains bodyheat. Residents may be seated on pressure-reduction cushions. However, the efficacy of those cushions isdiminished when solid padded slings are left under the divided leg Sling is a secure, easy-to fit general purpose Sling , designed for the majority of Sling users.

3 Use thedivided leg Sling for residents who are totally dependent, partially dependent, non-weight bearing, very heavy or havelimited head control. Use this Sling when transferring the resident from the bed to a wheelchair, recliner or shower-chair or from the floor to a large opening also accommodates toileting. This versatile Sling provides full head and neck support and caneasily be removed or applied to a resident in a seated or supine position. The solid fabric has extra padding forresidents with delicate skin. The solid polyester slings should not be left under the resident for extendedperiods because the padding retains body heat.

4 Residents may be seated on pressure-reduction cushions. 7 Only INVACARE slings and accessories should be used on INVACARE POSITIONING (Reclined)Place fan-folded or rolled Sling under Patient with grab strap away fromskin. Roll Patient from side to side, smoothing each half of the Sling . Bedrail on opposite side should be raised. Refer to INVACARE Sling Owner sManual for detailed Leg For Divided Leg or Toileting Sling , slide behind seatedpatient until belt is at waist level or bottom of back sectionis at the base of the spine. Place leg sections under thighs,smoothing fabric. Attach to hanger bar in one of the threemethods: crossed between legs, under both legs or singleloop under each leg.

9 Have head and neck control, are cooperative, cansit up on the edge of the bed (with or without assistance),and are able to bend at the hip, knees and ankles. Use theR130 or R131 standing slings for standing assistance, quicktoileting, weight bearing practice and for transferringresident from bed to chair, or chair to Sling R130 TRANSPORT Sling R134 Application: Use only with Reliant Stand Up : RPS350-1, RPS350-2 The R134 and R136 transport slings are for transferring residents with minimal weight-bearing capacity, who have head and neck control, arecooperative, can sit up on the edge of the bed (with or without assistance), and are able to bend at the hips, knees and ankles.

10 Use the R134and R136 transport Sling for transferring resident from bed to chair, chair to car or general in-room transport. Do not raise resident to a fullstanding position while using the transport Sling .
