1 C:\Users\kratos\Downloads\Drayton Foods MAINTENANCE Tech DRAYTON FOODS, LLC JOB DESCRIPTION FOR MAINTENANCE technician LEVEL I DEPARTMENT: MAINTENANCE REPORTS TO: MAINTENANCE Manager FLSA: Non-exempt SUMMARY Performs a variety of preventative MAINTENANCE and repair activities to support production operations and ensure the plant and equipment are maintained according to MAINTENANCE guidelines and safe operating procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Duty/Responsibility 1. Performs preventative MAINTENANCE and repairs according to company guidelines and equipment specifications ensuring that all paperwork and procedures are completed in a timely and accurate manner. 2. Diagnoses electrical, mechanical, conveyors, plumbing and similar problems, and applies appropriate corrective action. 3. Adjusts plant equipment ensuring the proper performance and safe operating conditions. 4. Performs various in shop repairs to include welding, milling, machining and other related activities.

2 5. Monitors flour silo operations, which includes climbing 35-foot tower for MAINTENANCE and repairs. 6. Reads and interprets schematic drawings and diagrams required to perform MAINTENANCE . 7. Participates in company and departmental training on policies, procedures and work methods. 8. Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Performs assigned duties under general supervision and does not perform any supervisory responsibilities. 3 Must possess general mechanical, preventative MAINTENANCE , electrical, and troubleshooting experience. C:\Users\kratos\Downloads\Drayton Foods MAINTENANCE Tech KNOWLEDGE Knowledge of: MAINTENANCE and repair techniques and procedures; Basic mathematics to include adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, compute rate, ratio and percent; General electrical (3 phase) principles; General mechanical theories and principles; Basic Hydraulics and Pneumatic control principles Safe operating procedures and practices; Food safety principles and practices. SKILLS Skill in: Maintaining, repairing and installing electrical components and mechanical systems; Troubleshooting and monitoring plant equipment and conveyor systems including belting repair; Reading and interpreting written instructions, work orders, safety rules, operating and MAINTENANCE instructions, procedure manuals and project guidelines; Operating a variety of power and hand tools to perform essential job duties; Performing technician duties such as welding, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, and conveyor systems; Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co-workers, supervisor, the general public, etc.
