1 Created 12/04/2017sk Job title : Geologist Reports to: Director of land and business development Job Description Summary of Position Ability to function effectively in a small, fast paced business development environment, working on individual studies and closely with multiple disciplines and building strong working relationships with staff and management across Crestone Peak Resources. Qualified candidates will have the ability to contribute in a multi-disciplinary team environment, collaborate with the geological and engineering staff, effectively integrate across disciplines. This role will also provide direction on strategy, planning and recommendations for business development projects, such as working on M&A, with the development team as needed, as well as mid- to long-term lead time development projects and effectively deploy value added technologies, workflows and best practices in both a business development and operating environments.

2 Job Responsibilities: The primary purpose of this position is to collaborate closely with land , geology and reservoir, production and operations engineering to evaluate and recommend potential assets for business development purposes. Analyze and interpret the DJ Basin and Powder River Basin from a geologic standpoint Analyze areas of interest and make recommendations based Geological viability and economics associated with certain assets Work with engineering department to make and create type curve assumptions and value assets based on plans of development Analyze and evaluate petrophysical data Present basin evaluations and intelligence to executive management Minimum Job Qualifications Masters degree in Geology or closely related geology or scientific related discipline preferred Extensive understanding and experience in the core and broader DJ Basin as well as the Powder River Basin

3 Deep oil plays Strong understanding of reservoir engineering, geological and geophysical reservoir characterization in the DJ Basin and Powder River Basin deep oil plays, earth modelling, reservoir management and surveillance, and the ability to design, implement, and execute data acquisition programs from field to laboratories specifically in the areas of well testing, PVT phase behavior, special core analysis, reservoir fluid geochemistry and flow assurance Strong background in conducting integrated geological studies with a strong level of working knowledge in the DJ Basin and/or integrated production modelling applied to reservoir development and reservoir/asset management Strong working knowledge of well testing, special core analysis, and PVT phase behavior packages for equation of state development and performance analysis and forecasting of complex reservoir systems including unconventional reservoirs Experience in application of advanced production diagnostics, geomechanics.
