Generally if a wedding is to occur during the work week at a courthouse it must be before 8:00 am or after 4:30 pm, unless the judge agrees to perform the wedding during the work day while taking vacation leave. Check with individual JUDGES for other arrangements such as weekend or evening ceremonies , or locations other than court locations. Request specific instructions from the judge s staff regarding building access outside of regular business hours. Remember to bring to the following to your wedding ceremony Marriage license issued by any Hennepin County Service Center Photo IDs presented by each applicant Two witnesses (or request the court to provide them)
