Stockyard s Kerwee feedlot is a 20,200 head modern cattle facility located at Jondaryan, Queensland. Due to successful internal recruitment, an opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Manager to lead our close-knit Maintenance team. This team runs a tight ship at Kerwee Feedlot to ensure it s constantly in its best shape and running smoothly. Their hard work is part of the reason we ve been recognised as ALFA s feedlot of the year 5 times in a row.

2 About the Job Reporting directly to the General Manager Feedlot Operations, and working closely with our Mill and Livestock teams the Maintenance Manager will: Lead a small and dynamic Maintenance team responsible for maintaining our award-winning facility, plant and equipment. Create, plan & implement a preventative Maintenance schedule/strategy of all fixed and mobile plant that complies with industry regulations. Manage all Maintenance processes and operations across the feedlot which include, feeding fixed and mobile plant, pen surface/condition, water supply and service as well as feedlot infrastructure such as bunks, yards, fences, and buildings. Ensure that all Maintenance operations are completed in accordance with company policy and procedure.

3 Track expenses and oversee the budget for Maintenance as well as assist in the annual budgeting and capital expenditure preparation. Manage inventory from forecasting through to use, as well as stocktake and reporting requirements. Manage all data for Maintenance activities, including the use of AMPRO fleet management software and other reporting requirements. Ensure all personnel are trained in practical and safe operational procedures within the Maintenance department.
