Malaysia is located just outside the “Pacific Rim of Fire” stretching over two parts: Peninsular Malaysia to the west and East Malaysia to the east. Malaysia's climate is hot and humid throughout the year. The climate on the peninsula is affected by wind from the mainland, while East Malaysia has more maritime weather.
