1 Navman Australia & New Zealand Map Installation Guide for Windows All models MY & EZY Series 1. Download the NavDesk software on the following link and run it: Navdesk is only compatible with Windows XP 32 Bit, Vista 32 Bit, Windows 7 32 & 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit and Windows 10 64 Bit. 2 This is a directory on your computer and not in the Navman GPS. 4. Once done with the download, connect the device to the computer, switch it on and Wait for it to display the computer connection screen. 5. Open NavDesk. The program should have an icon on your desktop. Double Click on it. Note: If you are prompted to update NavDesk and Map/Software Application, please download and install. 6. Go to Unlock Features . Enter the product key that was given to you via e-mail, all in upper case. Please be reminded that we do not use the number 1 on the code. If you Navman Australia & New Zealand see one, change it to a letter I for Indigo 7. Click on Continue . 8. Finish the process and then go to My Maps.

3 9. On the far right (loadable maps section) you should see the MapData version that you downloaded from Step 1 and DVD. Click on Open next to the MapData version. 10. Wait for the screen to load and should show Navman Internal and Map Source. Under My Navman , remove the Australia map first by putting a tick and click on Remove Navman Australia & New Zealand Maps . 11. Let the process finish and then Tick the map you unlocked (displayed by a Yellow Circle) on Map Source and select Install Maps . 12. Finish the process and Click on Close when done. A message will appear and advise you that you will need to recover your subscriptions. It may recover your Subscriptions Navman Australia & New Zealand automatically depending on your device.

4 (Applicable to all 2011-2013 MY Series Devices and for EZY/MOVE devices who have purchased any additional subscriptions such as Safety Camera updates, Travel Guides etc) Select My Subscriptions and click on Recover Subscriptions . If it displays No Subscriptions Installed , it means that your device does not have any additional subscriptions activated. 13. Finish the process and Turn off your device by holding down on the power button or sliding the switch to Reset (depending on your model ). Once the screen has turned off, safely remove the device from the computer and press down or slide on the power button to turn it on again. If device does not turn on, use a paperclip to poke the reset button on the back of the device or leave the slide switch on reset for 10 seconds (selected devices) If you have installed International Maps, follow the steps below to access them on your device: 1.

5 Turn on your unit 2. Go to the Main Menu 3. Select Settings 4. Select My Maps 5. Select Map Set 6. Select the country you wish to load on your unit eg: North America 7. Confirm that you wish to load these maps by selecting Yes 8. The device will restart and load the International Maps. Navman Australia & New Zealand Please note that when you first turn on the unit overseas, it can take up to 6 minutes for the unit to locate your position. This is because the GPS chip has a memory that allows it to approximate the location of the satellites to pick up the signal faster. When you travel a large distance whilst the unit is off, it needs to be begin the search for satellites from scratch and this is why it may take longer the first time you use the unit overseas.

6 You will also experience this delay upon returning to your local country.
