4 VII FIRST AID Inhalation: If irritation occurs, remove to fresh air. Eyes: Immediately flush with cool water. Remove contact lenses, continue flushing for 15 minutes, holding eyelids apart to ensure rinsing of the entire eye. Contact a physician if irritation persists. Skin: Wipe off excess MATERIAL and wash affected area with soap and water. If irritation persists, contact a physician. Ingestion: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. If victim is conscious, rinse mouth and give 1-2 glasses of water. Consult a physician immediately. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. VIII PREVENTATIVE MEASURES Gloves: Wear canvas, leather or other types of work gloves. Eye Protection: Wear SAFETY glasses or goggles when spreading or handling procedure may result in eye contact. Other Protective Equipment: As required to prevent contact with skin or clothing.
5 Engineering Controls: Local Exhaust: Not normally required. Leak and Spill Procedures: Pick up MATERIAL that has not become wet and store in moisture resistant container for possible future use. Spilled MATERIAL that has become wet should be scooped up and placed in suitable containers for disposal. Rinse residues away with water. Handling Procedures and Equipment: Remove and launder contaminated clothing. Avoid grinding or physically crushing product to prevent dust formation. Wear eye protection when handling procedure may result in risk of eye contact ( machine spreading or broadcasting). Wear gloves and clothing which will prevent contact when handling product. Wash hands after use. Waste Disposal: In accordance with Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations. Storage Requirements: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
