2 After 3 absences,you will loseonepercentage point from your attendance grade for each subsequent :We will be using Webwork for the routine exercises, but I will also assignwritten homework weekly (check the course webpage) to be turned in on every Tuesday(unless otherwise stated).The latest you can turn in any assignment is two days after theofficial due date, no exceptions!Make sure that your presentations are well-organised. Ifyou use more than one sheet of paper, please write your name at the top of each sheet, andbe sure to staple them all together. This will make my job to grade them much :The two exams will be given around the6thand12thweeks of lecture. Accordingto the course schedule, the final exam will take place on Tuesday 16 May at 10:30 AMforSection 1, and Tuesday 16 May at 1:00 PMfor Section 2.

Besides that, there is also free tutoringfor all introductory math and science courses in the STEM Center (in El Dorado Hall).Learning Outcomes:Through this course, students will be able to Solve general Linear systems of equations. Compute determinants. Analyze invertibility of matrices and compute inverses. Use vector techniques in geometric problems. Compute eigenvalues and eigenvectors and use them in a variety of problems. Use Linear transformations in 2 or 3 dimensions.

4 Discuss the general concept of vector spaces, Linear independence and spanning sets. Apply Linear algebra to a variety of mathematical and non-mathematical disciplines. Express ideas of Linear algebra in oral and written Honesty:Cheatingwill not be toleratedin this class.
