6 It measures the distance from the reference point (process connection) to the productsurface. 8 The user can activatethese functions. Together with the multi-echo tracking algorithms they ensure that interferenceechoes ( from edges and weld seams) are not interpreted as level FMR50 Endress+Hauser7 OutputThe Micropilot is commissioned by entering an empty distance "E" (=zero), a full distance "F" (=span)and application parameters which automatically adapt the instrument to the process conditions. Formodels with a current output, the factory adjustment for zero point "E" and span "F" is 4 mA and 20mA. For digital outputs and the display module, the factory adjustment for zero point "E" and span "F"is 0 % and 100 %.
9 A linearization with max. 32 points, based on a table entered either manually or semi-automatically,can be activated locally or remotely.
