The Millennium Development goals (MDGs) translate this commitment into a framework of measurable goals and targets by which Progress can be is tracked against 21 targets and 60 indicators addressing extreme poverty and hunger, education, women s empowerment and gender equality, health, environmental sustainability and global Chart provides an assessement of where we stand on selected key targets relating to each Goal.
