Using the DPA SERIES pull with a ML seriesmortise lock allows the force of the magnet tobe directly opposite the direction of pull ; there-fore no mechanical advantage is gained whenforce is applied to the pull handle. There is nochance of racking the door. Steel or aluminumframed doors are susceptible to permanentdamage when the lock is header mounted andthe door handle is pulled repeatedly (while thedoor is locked).
2 Rugged ConstructionThese locks and door pulls were first utilizedin New York City s Public Housing high level of use combined with the needto conform Architecturally and Functionallyled to a truly tough yet appealing design. Allfasteners are Stainless Steel and design allows the ML SERIES lock fastenersto be totally concealed when the door is closedand areas where aesthetics are a concern, theDPA SERIES pull handle with the ML-1100series lock allows concealment of the lockinghardware. This pull handle is an attractiveoption for lobby and vestibule entrances. Thesepulls may be custom engraved and supplied inplated or anodized OperationAll Dortronics electromagnetic locking devicesare fail-safe, releasing instantly upon commandor loss of power.
3 With no moving parts towear, stick or bind, and no mechanical linkagesto bend or break, locking and unlocking isaccomplished with ease and ControlML SERIES locks can be controlled individuallyor simultaneously from one or many status of the lock may be monitored byany card access system via the optional MBS(magnetic bond sensor) which signals that thelock is properly energized and is holding. Thewell confined magnetic field allows these locksto be used in computer rooms and other elec-tronically sensitive shown openDoor shown closedSpecifications: MORTISE lock ModelsML-1100 - Single Door (1000 lbs. total)Physical SizeML-1100- 10-7/8 Long x 1-1/2 Wide x 1-3/8 deep overall ElectricalOperating voltage ML-1100 - 360ma @ 24 VDC 12 VDC Non-stock itemcheck with factory.
