MP2allows for long-term growth of any size operation. With MP2, either create work orders immediately or build the databasecompletely before creating work orders, optimizing the program s work order generation and reporting Enterprise is a critical corporate asset for many reasons. 6 Additionally, create user accountsfor all MP2 users and roles for each defined security Sites, Purchasing Centers, records for all your facility s sites,purchasing centers, and warehouses. MostMP2 records are specific to the site,purchasing center, or warehouse. Forexample, work order records are site-specific, purchase order records arepurchasing center-specific, and inventoryrecords are warehouse-specific. User Accounts/Passwords. Create useraccounts and passwords. Users mayaccess MP2 only with their user ID andpassword. Security Roles. Create security roles forthe various groups at your facility andassign users to them.

7 Role Assignment Levels. Assign users tomore than one Role Type (Site, PurchasingCenter, Warehouse). Within each role type,you may assign users to more than oneRole Type ID. For example, you mayassign employee CRS to sites 1 and 2, andto warehouses A and System OVERVIEW3 Security DesignDesign the level of security necessary for your facility so that only authorized personnel can start MP2 and access , customize MP2 menu titles and field names so that they are Field Security. Define field security foreach security role. Allow roles read-write(edit) access or read-only access to , you may hide fields altogetheror specify that they are required.

8 Form Security. Define form security foreach security role. Allow roles read-onlyaccess to forms by prohibiting insertions,deletions, and updates. Table Security. Define table security foreach security role. Prohibit roles frominserting, deleting, and updating records incertain tables. Additionally, you may hidetables altogether. Menu Option Security. Restrict access tomenu options at any level. Purchasing Security. Further restrictpurchasing security roles by permittingthem read-only, non-cost, or unrestrictedaccess to MP2 purchase orders andrequisitions. Specify whether these rolescan receive items, insert new line items intopurchase orders with requisitions, or makechanges to purchase order statuses.

9 Security Filters. Define security filters tofurther restrict user access to certainrecords, and then assign security filters touser accounts. Menu and Field Customization. Modifymenu titles and/or field names. MP2changes the names of these fields onrelated forms and System OVERVIEW4 LABORC reate employee records for all individuals involved in the maintenance process at your facility. Enter personal information, suchas the address and phone number, as well as work-related information, such as shift, craft, and hire date. Hide private or sensitiveinformation with MP2 s security Training. Enter training information, suchas course descriptions, hours or CEUsearned, whether the employee earned acertificate and/or passed the course, andthe cost of the course.

10 Wage Rates. Enter multiple wage rates peremployee, if necessary. Timekeeping. Specify exceptions to thenormal working hours, such as vacation,sick time, System OVERVIEW5 VENDORS AND MANUFACTURERSC reate vendor records for all the companies from which you purchase items and services. Create manufacturer records for thecompanies that produce the items and equipment located at your site. Enter basic information, such as address and contactinformation for each vendor and manufacturer. Additionally, enter payment, shipping, and freight Taxes. Enter multiple tax rates per tax codeand assign a tax code to each , specify the tax type (Sales orUse) for each vendor.
