The PeeWee, Bantam and Midget playoff series will be best of three (3) game series, with the highest seeded teams having home ice advantage.
2 The home team shall have games 1 & 3 while the opponent shall have game 2 in- between, unless mutually agreed upon by both teams. Please be advised of this policy: Any player that gets assessed an intent to injure/match penalty will no longer be able to participate in any further NEMHL playoffs for the remaining of the season AND the team/association will be fined $500 and shall not be permitted to play until the fine has been paid to the NEMHL. If this is the last game for the offending player/team; the fine still stands.
3 If the fine is not paid by April 1st, this fine shall become the responsibility of the home association where it's membership within the NEMHL will be suspended until the fine is paid. Atom Top 4 teams in each division (H & H). st 1 Round Game 1(A1 vs B 4), Game 2 (A2 vs B3), Game 3 (A3 vs B2), Game 4 (A4 vs B1). nd 2 Round Game 5 (wg1 vs wg3) & Game 6 (wg2 vs wg4). Final Round Game 7 (wg5 vs wg6) = A side Champions (Best 2 out of 3). Bottom 4 teams in each division (H&H). st 1 Round Game 1 (A5 vs B8), Game 2 (A6 vs B7), Game 3 (A7 vs B60, Game 4 (A8 vs B5).)

Novice Top 4 teams in each division (all H&H). st 1 Round Game 1(A1 vs B 4), Game 2 (A2 vs B3), Game 3 (A3 vs B2), Game 4 (A4 vs B1). nd 2 Round Game 5 (wg1 vs wg3) & Game 6 (wg2 vs wg4). Final Round Game 7 (wg5 vs wg6) = Novice Champions st All other teams will play 1 round (H&H) straight across and shall be completed by the 1 Round date A5 vs B5. A6 vs B6, etc . Please note: Teams in all divisions may choose neutral referees for all rounds of playoffs; this must be determined prior to the start of each round of playoffs.
5 Any team requesting neutral officials must put in a request to their NEMHL Division Coordinator. The NEMHL Division Coordinator will make arrangements with the NEMHL RIC. The team requesting the neutral officials are responsible for the cost of the officials and mileage.
