Owner’s Manual

The gas control has a gas safety valve built into it. As long as a flame is present, the safety valve is open and allows the LP gas to flow to the burner. Any loss of the flame (empty gas tank, blow out, etc.) closes the safety valve and stops the flow of LP gas.
