7 Application for special management of scheduled wastes Scheduled Waste shall be stored, treated, recovered in a proper mannerScheduled Waste shall be delivered and received safely at prescribed premises for treatment, disposal or recoveryScheduled Waste shall be packed, labeled and transported in accordance with prescribed guidelineRegulation 8 : Responsibility of waste generator (5) Stored for not more than 180 days and/or accumulated quantity not more than 20 metric tones whichever comes firstRegulation 9 : Storage of scheduled wastes1) Stored in appropriate containers2) Incompatible scheduled wastes stored in separated containers3) Containers shall always be closed4) Areas of the storage (in accordance with the guideline) The date when the scheduled waste are first generated, name, address and telephone number of waste generator shall be clearly labelled on the containers Containers shall be labelled clearly as specified in 3rdschedule and marked with scheduled wastes code as specified in 1stschedule LABEL ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE ALTEREDR egulation 10 : Labelling of scheduled wastesLabel Specification for Scheduled wastes10 cm10 cm45 The label should be square set an angle of 45.

8 The dimension of the label shall not be less than 10 cm by 10 cm except where the size of the container or pakagewarrants for a label of smaller sizeRegulation 10 : Labelling of scheduled wastesThe label may be of the following types :STICK ONMETAL PLATESSTENCILED OR PRINTED ON THE CONTAINER OR PACKAGEAll labels shall be able to withstand open weather exposure without a substantial reduction in effectivenessLabel shall be placed on a background of contrasting colourIn the case of waste capable of causing two or more hazards, all the hazards must be clearly identified and the waste shall be labelled accordinglyRegulation 10 : Labelling of scheduled wastesKeep scheduled wastes inventory in accordance with 5thSchedule for a period of three yearsRegulation 11 : Wastes generator shall keep an inventory of scheduled wasteRegulation 12.

9 Information to be provided by waste generator, contractor and occupier of prescribed premisesInformation of scheduled wastes to be completed in accordance with 6thschedule by generator, contractor and receiverRegistration with state DOEE lectronic system for the transportation of scheduled wastes from waste generator to waste receiverWaste generators shall submit within 30 days from the date transportationRequirement for using E-SWIS by DOEW aste receiver shall submit within 20 days from the date of receiptWaste generator shall provide information in accordance with 7thSchedule (WASTE CARD) to the contractor together with the wastesWaste generator shall inform the contractor the purpose and use of 7thSchedulePrior to any collection of scheduled waste from any waste generator, the waste receiver must obtain a written approval from DOE by using TWG form.
