5 Physical Therapist assistants are also involved in the prevention of the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles. Employment for licensed Physical Therapist assistants is available in hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, home health agencies, public school systems, education centers, industrial health centers, athletic facilities, and fitness centers. Essential Functions: The mission of the Physical Therapist Assistant program is to prepare graduates for entry-level work positions in the field.

6 All students will be expected to perform assigned skills and class assignments at the same level, with or without accommodations.
