PERFORMANCE STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES The purpose of this document is to assist departments during the personal protective equipment (PPE) procurement process and serves as a guide to determine if PPE meets minimum performance standards. This helps ensure PPE will provide adequate protection t o prevent COVID-19 transmission.
