"FuelLevelMark", Attachthehighpressurehosetothehighpressu reoutletonthepump(Figure9).Pulldownonthe collarofthequickconnect, []! ,followthesamedirectionstoattachquickcon nectfromguntohose. Attachtheotherendofthehosetothebaseofthe spraygun(Figure10).Tightenbyhand. :Yourpressurewashercomeswithaquickconnec tthatyoucanusetoattachthehighpressurehos etoeitherthepumporspraygun. 5 Beforestartingthepressurewasher, 'sassemblytoconfirmyouhaveperformedaltof thefollowing: Makesurethehandleisinplaceandsecure. Checkthatoithasbeenaddedtotheproperlevel intheenginecrankcase. Addthepropergasolinetofueltank. Checkforproperlyattachedhoseconnections. Checktomakesurethattherearenokinks,cuts, ordamagetothehighpressurehose. Provideaproperwatersupplyatanadequateflo w. Besuretoread"SafetyRules"and"HowToUseYou rPressureWasher" , , "PreparingPressureWasherforUse"forillust rations. Makesureunitisinalevelposition. ! Attachthenozzleextensiontothespraygun(Fi gure12). "HowtoUsetheNozzles"onpageI0. Engagethesafetylatchtothesprayguntrigger (Figure13).SafetyLatch PutltheChokerodtotheCLOSED position(allthewayout,Figure14).ChokeRod //_'/'j_ClosedNOTE:Forawarmengine,besure thechokeisintheOPEN position(nochoke). 7 Applythedetergenttoadrysurface,startinga tlowerportionofareatobewashedandworkupwa rd,usinglong,even,overlappingstrokes. (preventsstreaking).IMPORTANT:Youmustflu shthechemicalinjectionsystemaftereachuse byplacingthefilterintoabucketofcleanwate r, !Beextremelycarefulifyoumustusethepressu rewasherfromaladder, , ,scourthesurfaceandrinseitcleanasfollows : Applysafetylatchtospraygun. Removetheblackchemicalnozzlefromthenozzl eextension. Selectandinstallthedesiredhighpressureno zzlefollowingtheinstructions"HowtoUsethe Nozzles"onpage10. Keepthespraygunasafedistancefromtheareay ouplantospray. ,youcanassumeitisokaytocontinuerinsing. Startatthetopoftheareatoberinsed, (ThermalRelief)Ifyouruntheengineonyourpr essurewasherfor3-5minuteswithoutpressing thetriggeronthespraygun,circulatingwater inthepumpcanreachatemperaturebetween125 -155 EAtthistemperature, , (gpm) ,theoperatormustmaint3inthehighpressurew asherasinstructedinthismanual.
