3 In the closed position it guides the sail perfectly. When re-hoisting the sail, just open the prefeeder and close it around the luff without having to remove the headsail. Delivered as a standard on Racing Systems and an optional extra on Cruising : Optimum Strength to Weight RatioPROFURL extrusions are made lighter and stronger by the use of special alloy (6106) and by design incorporating longitudinal ribs offering the best strength/weight ratio of the market. Optimum torque resistance along the entire foil length and the total absence of play at the junctions avoid any possible twist whilst reefi ng. The foil shape is specifi cally designed for uniform rigidity aerodynamic performance and smooth even stop (patented)Prevents halyard wraps. Fixed to the top of the stay, the wrap stop eliminates the needs for a halyard fairlead, and reduces potential halyard chafe.

4 The wrap stop also prevents unnecessary horizontal pressure on the top swivel, which could generate bearing fatigue. New Luff Rope Feeder The new luff rope feeder for a smoother and easier sail host by one crew member. Manufactured from highly resistant stainless steel, the design eliminates any possible damage to the sail. The luff rope feeder can be installed or removed without any tool. Delivered as a standard on all models but C260 and Swiveling Attachment DeviceBy replacing head and tack shackles, this new device enables to attach the sail quickly and to furl it perfectly without any distortion. Thanks to the captive pin, the headsail can be easily and quickly installed. 5 These bearings are sealed in a grease bath, which has proven to be the most successful design for reefi ng Systems . It also provides an unequalled strength to weigth ratio. The use of special waterproof grease and the PROFURL unique greasing process effi ciently lubricate the system for its entire life. Watertightness is achieved by the use of two double lip seals, one above and one below each ball bearing. These seals prevent foreign bodies such as salt, sand and dust from entering the bearing mechanism. Water is also prevented from entering the bearing system . New Removable Drum(on all models but C260, C290 and C700)Resistance :Made of high impact plastic (similar to car bumpers), the drum can withstand tremendous impact ( anchor bumps, ) and is resistant to UV and corrosion. Ease of use :The double cage arms (PROFURL exclusivity) prevents the furling line jumping off the drum: they allow the furling line to jump back onto the drum, by simply pulling on the line.

6 Removable : By removing the drum and the double drum guard, the headsail can be hoisted and set as if on a Racing foil.
