1 RCI ACTION GROUP NEW S ABOUT THE RCI ACTION GROUP COMMITTEE There is a vacancy to join the Committee and we welcome a cross section of members but an additional member with a legal background, for example a retired barrister or judge would be of particular preference. The Committee is called to meet every quarter at the offices of Edwin Coe LLP in central London and you will be required to attend. Please click on AGroup if you are interested in joining. Your Committee as it stands was formed in November 2012 by volunteer members of the RCI ACTION GROUP . They are: Mik e A ttenborough-Cox Ch a i rman - Mike is a senior partner in a global firm of accountants and retires at the end of May this year.
2 He is an independent member of the Audit Committee of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and Chairs the Police and Crime Commissioner and the Chief Constable for Hampshire's Joint Audit Committee. Mike has been an RCI member for over 25 years and feels strongly that RCI has not lived up to the promises made and therefore should be made accountable to its me mbers for its failures and misrepresentations. James Dale Vice Ch a ir Aft e r ma n y y ea rs a s a n RAF W i n g C o mma n d e r , Ja me s r e t ir e d from the RAF just over 10 years ago and now spends his time doing voluntary work for both the Royal British Legion and the Gloucester Law Centre where he is the Vice Chairman.
3 Jenni Kravitz Communication Officer / Treasurer As owner of her own business and running her own diary, Jenni has the time to make herself available for meetings. She is extreme ly articulate, and does not like injustice and has in the past taken on her own litigation and is familiar with legal processes. Margaret Cunningham In her many years as a field director in market research, along with operating several businesses, she feels she can be an objective committee member. She understands how other timeshare owners feel about losses suffered, having been an owner now for over thirty years.
4 Margaret is now retired and has the time to dedicate to the Committee. A lex Glendinning has a broad experience of many areas of life. During his 35 years of working he has served on many committees within the NHS and believes he has a good understanding about how they work. He is well educated and enjoys probing into information supplied by other parties looking for the important details. Chery l Grainger has been self-e mployed for 20 years as a Training Consultant. She has served on several committees including the governor body of a new Academy School.
5 Cheryl has owned both weeks and points timeshare for over 14 years and has seen the deterioration in the service offered by RCI. She is also familiar with legal processes and has carried out her own litigation. Susan Lew is still works full-time for three different Charities based in Drury Lane, London. She is therefore, very close to the offices of Edwin Coe for meetings. Susan has also been a me mber of RCI for 28 years and has questioned their actions many times. Apart from working for Solicitors as a Secretary for five years she has limited legal background, but is used to fighting for any injustices and campaigning in her own private life.
6 Susan has offered to dedicate as much time as she can to helping the RCI ACTION GROUP Committee. Jonathan Price has been a member of RCI for 28 years and has considerable motivation in seeking compensation for their actions.
