Name may not exceed 21 characters and spaces combined. Do not use names that sound similar to existing names, even if spelled differently. Application must be accompanied by at least four (4) clear, close photographs of the horse. These photographs must include each side and the front and rear views. Please do not trim or mark on the photographs. If the horse is freeze-branded, a photo of brand must accom-pany Application . If the horse has minimal white qualifying areas, submit additional photographs of this area with a ruler.

3 If photographs submitted do not clearly estab-lish eligibility for Regular Registry, the horse will be registered into the Solid Paint Bred Registry. Include payment for all applicable fees. 6 transfer fee of $25 applies. Any alteration may necessitate a new transfer . APHA will not knowingly skip transfers of own-ership. Include additional signed transfer reports in cases where there s an in-between owner; available at Seller s signature is required. When a foal is transferred, a membership must be held or purchased in exactly the same name as that under which the foal is to be Breeders Trust Program Breeders Trust is an incentive program for horses competing in APHA-approved events. Breeders Trust rewards everyone involved in the foal s competitive success. Foal s sire must be subscribed to the program for the applicable breeding year in order for the foal to be nominated to the Breeders Beginning January 1, 2022, parentage verification is required for all horse regis-trations. If you have a QH or TB stallion or mare that has been genetically tested, we will accept those re-sults if on file with APHA s official laboratory.

7 A DNA recording fee might be required if testing was done privately. For parentage verification, both the dam and foal must be tested. Order test kits for both if the dam has not already been genetically Schedule APHA will charge all fees necessary to complete this Registration . Fees are based on the date the completed appli-cation is postmarked and age of horse at the time submitted. Postal meters are not accepted. If the Registration is incomplete, additional fees may be incurred. The age of a horse is computed by the calendar year starting on January 1 of the year foaled. Average Registration completion times range from two to six weeks, depending on time of year submitted. If you wish to have your Registration completed sooner, a rush service is available.
