1 Roots PackagedBlower UnitsRoots PackagedBlower UnitsSRB Blower Units and SRE exhauster Units Each standard packagedblower or exhauster combines a Roots Blower unit supplying oil-free air with an electricmotor, vee-belt drive, intake filter/silencer, filter restriction indicator, discharge silencer,non return valves and relief valves. The Blower is mounted on a rigid baseplate andcontained within a practical acoustic enclosure, which reduces radiated noise levelsfor noise sensitive SRB range covers pressures from 300 to 1000 mbar ( ) with inletvolumes from 50m3/h to 300m3/h. The SRE range covers 300 mbar to 500 mbar( to ). Pressure relief and non-return valves are supplied loose forinstallation into customer s pipework.

2 Both packages have hinged access withsecurity Blower unitsThe MRB range of standard package Units offer pressures from300 mbar to 1000 mbar ( to 30kW) and inlet volumes from 400m3/h to 1400m3 MRB package combines a Roots URAI Blower unit supplying oil free air with anelectric motor, vee-belt drive, intake filter/silencer, discharge silencer, filter restrictionindicator, non return valve and pressure relief valve. The Blower is mounted on a rigidbaseplate with fork-lift slots and contained within a fan vented acoustic enclosure,which reduces radiated noise levels for noise sensitive pressure relief valve and non-return valve aresupplied loose for installation into customer spipework. The package has hinged access withsecurity exhauster Units The MRE offersvacuums from 200 mbar to 500 mbar ( to 30kW)with all the features of the packages comply with the EU machinery directive withregard to CE the heart of the SRB/E and MRB/E PackageReliability is at the heart of every package inthe form of the DRESSER Roots UniversalRAI Blower / exhauster.

3 The URAI isdesigned, precision machined and builtusing the latest computer aidedmethods. This ensures close tolerancesbetween the impellers, casing andheadplates to minimise back slippageof air and improve both efficiency andreliability. The DRESSER Roots exclusive Figure of 8 gearbox design improvesoil distribution and lengthens bearing andgear life. Oversize anti-friction bearingssupport the shafts.
