9 Title I and Appendices 1 through 6 apply to all proceedings in DISTRICT COURTS , family anddomestic relations COURTS , and juvenile COURTS . (b)Title II and Appendices 3 and 7 through 10 apply to all civil (non-family or domesticrelations) proceedings in DISTRICT COURTS . (c)Title III and Appendices 11 through 18 apply to criminal proceedings in all DISTRICT COURTS .(d)The numbering system for RULES in Title IV applies to all LOUISIANA family and domesticrelations proceedings in DISTRICT COURTS and in the Family court for the Parish of East Baton Rouge.(e)The numbering system in Title V applies to all juvenile proceedings in DISTRICT COURTS andin juvenile COURTS for the Parishes of East Baton Rouge, Orleans, Jefferson and 16 -Rule DateThe effective date of these RULES and all Appendices is April 1, 2002. These RULES and allAppendices shall govern all proceedings commenced thereafter and, insofar as just and practicable,all proceedings then of RULES and Updating Appendices(a)Proposed RULES or amendments to existing RULES in Titles I through III or to the numberingsystems in Titles IV and V must be approved by the Supreme court .

10 Proposed amendments maybe submitted by any LOUISIANA judge or licensed member of the LOUISIANA bar to the JudicialAdministrator of the Supreme court .(b)Changes to the RULES organized according to the numbering systems in Titles IV and Vmust be approved by the DISTRICT court , criminal court , family court or juvenile court that adoptedthe rule, sitting en banc, and a copy must be provided to the Office of the Judicial Administratorof the Supreme court within 30 days of passage.(c)Changes in the information contained in the appendices to these RULES shall be transmittedto the office of the Judicial Administrator of the Supreme court within 30 days of the date of thechange. The Office of the Judicial Administrator of the Supreme court shall update the appendicesannually by communication with the Chief Judge and the Clerk of court for each judicial DISTRICT ,family court or juvenile court .
