2 O Adds responsibilities for the Provost Marshal General (para 1-17a).o Clarifies the prohibition on providing classified military information orcontrolled unclassified information to official Foreign visitors who have notobtained an approved Foreign visit request (paras 3-1c and I-14).o Refines request for visit authorization requirements under the Department ofthe Army International Visits Program (paras I-1b; I-7a; I-11d; I-12d(1)(a)and (2)(a); I-13a; I-14; I-16b(7) through (10)).o Requires hosting commands to request a waiver for anticipated Foreign visitssubmitted with less than 14 calendar days prior to the requested start date ofthe visit (para I-11d(1)(b)).

6 It ap-plies to all personnel involved in the for-eign Disclosure and technology and exception proponent of this regulation is theDeputy Chief of Staff, G 2. The propo-nent has the authority to approve excep-tions or waivers to this regulation that areconsistent with controlling law and regu-lations. The proponent may delegate thisapproval authority, in writing, to a divi-sion chief within the proponent agency inthe grade of colonel or the civilian equiv-alent. Activities may request a waiver tothis regulation by providing justificationthat includes a full analysis of the ex-pected benefits and must include formalreview by the activity s senior legal offi-cer.

7 All waiver requests will be endorsedby the commander or senior leader of therequesting activity and forwarded throught h e i r h i g h e r h e a d q u a r t e r s t o t h e p o l i c yproponent. Refer to AR 25 30 for internal control process. Thisregulation contains internal control provi-sions in accordance with AR 11 2 andidentifies key internal controls that mustbe evaluated (see appendix P).S u p p l e m e n t a t i o n .
