Important notes on Ordering Front End Loader Some tractor models require modification or relocation of some tractor parts eg. Battery boxes, fuel tanks, tool boxes, exhaust, weights carriage, lights etc. The additional cost incurred in these modifications is the responsibility of the customer, and will be charged to the customer. Catford Engineering will not bear the modification cost. All orders must be confirmed in writing before production of the unit will commence. Orders not confirmed in this manner will be considered cancelled. Oil to top up the reservoir is to be supplied by the customer or will be charged as an additional cost.

7 Some John Deere tractors require a special oil bowl to return the oil when a loader is fitted. These may be obtained from your local dealer or supplied by Catford Engineering at additional cost. Should a tractor require other valves to operate the front end loader (in addition to the standard spool) the work will be done at additional cost. (eg. A purchaser/operator is authorised to operate the Catford Front End Loader when he/she has read and fully understood these operating instructions. Do not overload front axles (Tractor manufacturers have maximum allowable weight specifications; it is up to the operator to know the recommended weights before using the Front End Loader).

10 Tractor manufacturers advise against engaging front wheel assist when using the Front End Loader. Consult with your tractor dealer for your particular tractor. Keep well clear of Front End Loader when in use. The operator must ensure that no one is in the immediate vicinity when operating the Front End Loader. The operator must not lift or carry any person in the bucket or on any other Loader attachment. When travelling, ensure the Loader bucket or attachments are tilted well back and kept low to the ground. The operator, when loading at height objects that can move or roll, must have a level lift (Safe Lift) fitted. Loading at heights must not be attempted if the Front End Loader has no Safe Lift fitted. SELF LEVELLING HYDRAULIC.
