4 Institutional Challenge To make 100% students employable for reputed IndustryMajor Gap in curricula as per Industry standards and not able to modify it as per market needsKeeping pace with technological advancementTo motivate faculty for New Product Development/ Research/R&D/InnovationTo attract eminent researchers & academicians in CRITERIA WISE SUMMARY Curricular Aspects KIET Group of Institutions is affiliated with Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, andfollows the curriculum prescribed by the University. The effective curriculum delivery is ensured by differentprocesses, Academic Council is responsible for maintaining the standards of instructions required notonly for effective curriculum delivery but also for robust education and examination system. The Head of theDepartments discusses their action plans to arrive at an optimal and effective way for curriculum delivery. Atthe commencement of every academic semester, an academic calendar gets disseminated as per the AKTU calendar.

5 After allocation of the subjects, the timetable committee prepares a master timetable, uploads it onthe KIET ERP. For well-planned curriculum delivery, lesson plans duly approved by HODs are uploaded onKIET ERP. Due to COVID-19, the Institution has shifted to variousonline learning platforms like MS Teams, Moodle, and KIET Career Maestro YouTube channel, conducts internal examinations CT-1, CT-2, and PUE and marks are uploaded on ERP afterevaluation of answer sheets. At the end, the end-semester examination is conducted and managed by theuniversity. Director, Dean, HOD, and faculty review the university result, and corrective measures are takenaccordingly for the successful implementation in the next semester The curriculum of UG/PG programsincludes courses to encourage Human Values and Professional Ethics in students.

6 At present, the curricularstructure does not include any specific course that addresses cross-cutting issues related to gender. But, variousactivities are conducted at the institute level to address it. Student s, Teacher s, Employer s, and Alumni sFeedbacks are taken based on predefined and Evaluation The institute organizes Induction Program every year to apprise newly joined students with engineering cultureand make them feel comfortable to acclimatize to the new environment. For the all-round development, theinstitute provides training in Soft skills , Aptitude, and various value-added courses. The students are motivatedto get registered in MOOCs like SWAYAM (NPTEL). COURSERA etc. Three basket system is followed tocategorize students into Advanced, Average, and slow learners and appropriate measures is taken to cater needsof students in these categories. The institute organizes an annual tech fest INNOTECH , an opportunity tonurture as well as to showcase talent in technical skills and innovative ideas.

7 Sports and cultural competitionsare also organized to inculcate team spirits. Various Center of excellence are established in the institute forenhancing hands on experience. The Innovation Center of the institute promotes innovative work, supplementstheoretical knowledge through a practice-based curriculum and thus enhances employability skills . The Examination Cell headed by the Controller ofExamination oversees the smooth conduct of all the internal and external examinations. Academic Calendar isissued before the commencement of new semester by the office of Dean (Academics). The audit by IQAC teamof the institute is done twice in every semester to verify academic related documents and adherence to norms ofthe , Innovations and Extension The Institute has gained a distinct image as an outstanding educational colossal among technical institutions ofUttar Pradesh, due to its inclination towards innovation, research and extension activities.

8 We are also a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) approved by DSIR, Delhi. Theinstitute is a Research Centre for , duly approved by AKTU, Lucknow since 2010 and has highlycommitted faculty with Research temperament. The institute encourages the faculty members by providingthem internal budgetary and administrative support and balancing their academic and administrativeresponsibilities. We have a well-organized Research and Development Committee, Collaborative Research andDevelopment Committee and Departmental Research Committee (DRC) to take care that the Research policiesand IPR Policy for Patents are effectively implemented. 9 We also have funded projects from DST, Govt. of India,AICTE etc. In our endeavor to continuously improve the quality of the teaching-learning process, we give immenseweightage to research activities. Research and developmental activities create and disseminate new knowledgein different fields, promotes innovation and motivates better learning and teaching among faculty members andstudents of our Institute as these are often incorporated in the courses. KIET Group of Institutions always works for the development of the underprivileged section of the considering their moral responsibility towards the society, the team also engages in various socialawareness programs from time to time with a motive to bring a positive change in the create the ecosystem of innovation and transfer the knowledge within the institute, KIET Group ofInstitutions, Ghaziabad together with NSTEDB, Department of Science & Technology, Govt.

The core strength and thrust area of the KIET-TBI isICT, Robotics Automation, Solar Energy, Automobile, E-mobility and SDG (Sustainable Development Goals).Infrastructure and Learning Resources The campus area of KIET Group of Institutions is sqm whereas built up area is sqm. Theinstitute follows green campus practices to contribute towards environmental management. In the campus, theadequate infrastructure is available in terms of teaching-learning, Co-curricular, Extra-Curricular and Extra Co-curricular activities. The all classrooms of the institute are ICT enabled classrooms of approximately 80 the laboratories in the institute are in good condition & equipped with world class equipment forexperiential learning and Project Development. The institute has setup Centre of Excellence (COE) withadvanced learning facilities to fill the gap between Industry and academia.
