INTRODUCTIONThis Service Document Master Index organizes an alphanumeric list of active and recently retired Service documents. Service documents not included in this Index (with release dates issued earlier than this Index ) are considered obsolete or inactive. Inactive Service documents are no longer eligible for publication or Document is comprised of multiple reorganized indices tailored for your specific point of reference:Continental Motors (CMI) issues Service documents to announce product improvements and to address conditions that affect maintenance, preventive maintenance, safety and continued airworthiness.

2 Compliance is required as specified in the COMPLIANCE section of each Service the different Service Document categories released by CMI, refer to the most current version of M-0, Standard Practice Maintenance Manual for Continental Motors Aircraft Engine Service documents and SIL640, New Service Document Format for Continental Motors Ignition System Service contained in Service documents will be incorporated into engine parts, maintenance, and overhaul manuals at the next revision or reprinting of the affected manual. 4 ICAs are primarily published in the form of Maintenance Manuals, Overhaul Manuals, or combined Maintenance and Overhaul Manuals. These manuals may be supplemented by Service documents, which may contain updates to an ICA until such time that the updated ICA is incorporated into the appropriate manual. Additionally, Service documents may address a specific issue and modify the published ICA for a limited purpose which may not be incorporated into the manual (reference the latest revision of M-0 for more information).III.
