10 Select YES once you have opened the X-TOOL will now proceed to Reset the smart key system, the procedure will take 16 minutes. During this time you will notice the security light will be out until the reset is complete. When the security light starts to Flash, the procedure has finished and you will see a message on the X-TOOL saying Reset complete > click > Program smart key after resetting > Hold the emblem side of the Smart key up to the Start button. If the correct smart key has been used you will hear an audible beep to confirm the smart key is the remote keyless entry operation by pressing Lock-unlock the vehicle by pressing the brake pedal and pressing the Start button.
