6 Training 7 Specialty Aquatics Classes 13 SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITYP rograms / Events / Activities 25-26 Y Volunteer Opportunities 26-27 MEMBERSHIP TYPESYOUTH I (AGES 6-11) This membership allows 6-11 year olds to enroll in classes, sports leagues and camps at member prices. There are no building privileges with this membership unless enrolled in a current class. PLEASE NOTE: Children under 12 years old must have a parent or legal guardian in the Y at all times except when the child is participating in their II (AGES 12-14) Membership includes Game Room, KidFit Center, and the basketball court at scheduled times. With this membership, kids are allowed to be in the Y without a parent/legal guardian. They may use the Farr Fitness Center from 2:30 - 5:30 pm M-F (cardio room and 10 piece strength circuit, NOT the Free Weight Room) without a parent in the room.
7 All other times, parent supervision (parent must be a Y facility member) is required. Orientation with an Exercise Trainer is : AGES 15 AND UP AND FAMILIES (SM or SFM)Includes all Group Exercise Classes (land only), First Step Fitness Program (ages 15+), Y-Boost Program, three one-on-one free appointments with an Exercise Trainer for all new members, Weight Room, Farr Fitness Cen-ter, lap swims, open Gymnasium times, jacuzzi, adult only locker rooms and discounts on Water Fitness Classes. Family Memberships include Y-Time , Y-Family Fun , and Family : AGES 19 AND UP AND FAMILIES (GM or GFM)The best value for the active Y family, a Gold Membership includes everything the Silver Membership has plus use of the Nautilus Center strength and cardio areas, for a no-wait-workout. A discount on massages, adult and youth classes.
8 Also available to Gold Members: air conditioned ADULT ONLY locker rooms with private stretching areas, steam room (men), sauna (women), and rental lockers. Children up to 12 years can get free swim lessons in the summer. PROGRAM ASSOCIATES (PA)An annual fee of $30 for adults (ages 15+) and $25 for youth (up to age 14) will allow you to register for programs at our facility for a full year and to purchase day passes at a reduced rate. If you decide during the year to purchase a Y Membership, we will credit the PA fee towards your membership. Call the Welcome Center at 773-3646 ext 0 for our current membership rates or to discuss the many benefits of becoming a Y DEPOSITA $50 Health Deposit is required for all new Adult & Family Memberships (sliding fee scale applies). Y staff spends a lot of time and effort in order to help you successfully establish a regular exercise habit, we don t want you to lose motivation and stop exercising in just a few weeks or months.
9 Our Staff will do their best to keep you on track. We want you to be healthy and use the Y every week. Your a member for 13 months and you will get the Health Deposit you paid mailed back to you. In other words, the Health Deposit is the deposit you make on the first day of your journey to a lifetime of good OPTIONSCash, check, VISA or MasterCard, in addition to our convenient monthly checking bank draft is accepted. REFUND POLICYThe YMCA will issue refunds for programs only for medical or military reasons or if the YMCA has cancelled the class for the session. A doctor/military note is needed to receive a refund. Classes cancelled due to weather will not be for other than medical or military Withdrawal before the session begins: 100% credit only Withdrawal during the first week of the session: 80% credit only Withdrawal during second week of the session: 50% credit only Withdrawal after the second week of session: no credit givenINSURANCE STATEMENT Our Y does not provide accident insurance for injuries sustained during Y activities.

The coming year offers challenges and opportunities the likes of which the Y has rarely seen, and yet I am excited to take them on along with the fantastic team of staff, members, and volunteers in our community. In July of 2019, Bob Sunderland, Executive Director of the YMCA in Greenfield since August 1987, will begin his retirement. This fall, Y-USA, members of our Board and community will enter into the process of finding and selecting Bob s replacement.
