The perceived success of theseprograms led to the formation of a national field task forcerepresenting both craft and areas, the NALC, the NRLCA, Corporate Training andDevelopment, and Delivery Services were represented in the taskforce which evaluated the previous self study national carriertraining Program and determined it inadequate for Training today sletter recommended an instructor based course utilizing a mockcasing/delivery environment to provide new Letter carriers anopportunity to practice the skills taught.
