Strangulation Information
“Bloody red eyes” (or subconjunctival hemorrhage): This occurs when the white part of the eye becomes bright red after a blood vessel breaks just under the clear surface of the eye. These will often look horrific, but are not believed to be painful They generally last for 10-14 days
